Key Responsibilities
● Prep Expertise: Prepare ingredients with precision — chopping, slicing, portioning, and setting up your station for success. Strong knife skills are a must.
● Roux & Sauces: Confidently prepare and cook a proper roux and assist in building sauces, soups, and gravies.
● Flawless Execution: Cook dishes from our set menu to exacting standards for quality and presentation.
● Shift Readiness: Work a reliable 5-day schedule, covering shifts between 10 AM and 11 PM, including nights and weekends as needed.
● Kitchen Operations: Assist with prep, inventory, food costs, and maintaining an organized, efficient kitchen.
● Teamwork & Leadership: Collaborate with the Chef-GM and help guide junior kitchen staff to ensure smooth, consistent service.
● Safety & Cleanliness: Uphold strict food safety standards and maintain an immaculate kitchen environment.
● Equipment Care: Clean, maintain, and respect all kitchen equipment — this space is our home away from home, and we take care of it with pride.
What We're Looking For
✔ Experience: 2–5 years in a fast-paced kitchen (line cook or prep cook roles).
✔ Knife Skills: Strong ability to handle, cut, and prep ingredients efficiently and safely.
✔ Cooking Knowledge: Familiarity with building sauces, making a proper roux, and understanding foundational cooking techniques.
✔ Mindset: A calm, problem-solving attitude under pressure, with a passion for delivering consistent, high-quality food.
✔ Availability: Must be able to work 5 shifts per week between 10 AM–11 PM, including peak service times.
