Angry Mussels review by Kim
Lissennnnn!!! The level of obsession that I have with these mussels is unreal especially because prior to these I was absolutely NOT a mussel person . Mussels in the past for me, were always too "sea- foody". In other words ,they were very briny and worst of all sandy!!! So my husband ordered them as an app the first time we came to Voodoo and let's just say that it ended up being my entree. I order it EVERY-TIME we come back regardless of anything else . Let's just say that these specific mussels are now THE standard by which all other mussels are measured - and so far NO ONE else has come close. I don't know what is in the broth but it is divine!!! The right amount of tang and nice mild heat and a wonderful medley of garlic onions and other spices… I save the broth every time and drink it in its own the next day! My nickname for these are "Michelin mussels" because they are that good! Michelin has to know about this!!I could kiss the chef!! Well done! And btw- I love the beer too and so far all the other menu items that I've tried ( reluctantly bc there is only so much stomach space after the mussels) has been spot on- pizza , burgers, the nachos and salads!! Voodoo is one of the only reasons I look forward to driving to the office a couple times a week …because -it's on my way home! 🥰

What goes with beer? Pretzels. What goes with great beer (Roswell Vibes)? A great pretzel! Deliciously warm with delectable dipping sauces. Mmmm.
